This month I flew to Sydney to complete a second photo shoot for Latasha’s Kitchen, this time in Latasha’s industrial kitchen where her delicious, unique sauces are prepared, bottled and labelled. It was so much fun to spend the day with her team and amazing to see just how much she is personally involved in selecting ingredients, cooking processes and quality control, right through to label design, working with her fantastic team. The weather was so different from my last work trip to Sydney, when I stayed by the beach… it rained constantly so I was glad to be based inner-city and be shooting inside!
This month has been mainly about presenting and team training – working on new training workshop outlines in personal branding and LinkedIn to assist corporate teams, and preparing an entry for a keynote speaking opportunity at a 2017 conference (wish me luck!). I was also lucky enough to present a lecture on personal branding to Central TAFE’s Marketing Diploma and Cert IV students last week.
I’ve also been busy assisting in planning celebrations for Global INSEAD Day, coming up on 12th September – though not a graduate from this top international business school, I have the pleasure of assisting with their events and online presence here in Perth, particularly through managing a closed LinkedIn group for graduates of various international business schools. I’m enjoying meeting the most interesting people through this work. Details of the upcoming INSEAD event below.
On the photography front, there’s been profile photo shoots for various clients, but one of the standouts for me was last month, for De Carter from Women’s Money Forum, pictured here (along with a behind-the scenes-snap!). Thanks to The Old Laundry for providing our fantastic North Perth location.
New staff training continued this month with a studio practice session – you can check out Sonya’s handiwork with my black-and-white portrait here!
