Two Feet & a Heartbeat Case Study Part 3

Part 3 About the team – bringing the team to life online

Without a doubt, the most important part of a tour company, and indeed any service industry, is its people. Most of the fun for participants on tour comes from listening to jokes and stories told with flair by animated, caring and all-seeing tour guides.

I was impressed with the knowledge and experience of the Two Feet guides and wanted to portray these qualities in profile photos and action shots giving an impression of who they are… so it was important to do more than provide just a ‘head and shoulder’ shot.

Normally for creative profile photos I would take a good chunk of time with each subject to get the look I’m after, but this time I was on the run, capturing them as we went along on tour. Despite the time and venue challenges of taking profile shots on the go, the great thing about this was it provided authentic context to the staff photos.

Although the Two Feet website already had some fun profile photos in a creative layout, I wanted to provide more information in the shots about the work the team members are involved in, and with more time, the next step would be to create more stylised team and profile photos with further consistency in setup (background, lighting), so the images can flow on the About Us web page.

For now, Two Feet has a new collection of key images of staff that really bring the people behind the business to life.
