Women in Technology WA TECHXchange
Personal branding – your values, your vision, your opportunities
Wednesday 18th April 2018
Time: 5.30pm – 8.00pm
Venue: The Globe Bar
Join us for our second TECHXchange of 2018 where we host a panel of three incredible women who are experienced professionals in the STEM space.
Designing your personal brand means building a narrative to show the world what you can contribute, while still being you.
Cultivating your personal brand is valuable, since a strong reputation can put you on the radar for exciting career opportunities. But personal branding has some challenges for female professionals,
including the “likability conundrum” and the balancing act of putting yourself ‘out there’ without being perceived as a craven self-promoter!
Join us on Wednesday, April 18th at 5.30pm, for a panel-style conversation to navigate these conundrums and explore ways to develop a robust personal brand.
We are excited to host an eclectic mix of panellists who will share their diverse views, experiences and stories about what works, and what doesn’t when it comes to personal branding.
Our Panel Members:
Marion Burchell, A/Chief Executive and GCIO at the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer
Linda Wayman, former General Manager, Southern Cross Austero
Julissa Shrewsbury, Director, New Work Consulting, Business & Personal Brand Strategy
